The Catering Steward position entails performing multiple tasks and providing excellent guest service through all Catering Requests. Must be quick thinking, and fast on your feet at times to perform several tasks at once. This position will also require other duties, not related to just Catering. The Catering Steward is not responsible for cooking the food, but is expected to present it in a professional, attractive way. Setting up the carts, and service to the rooms where the events are taking place. Finally, breaking down of the event room, cleaning, and returning all equipment used during the day back to the Catering Room. Solid communication with the Catering Manager is expected on a daily basis to keep up on every event.

Exercise initiative, seeking additional tasks and projects from supervisor. Recognize problems independently and work toward improving systems and procedures.
