  • Overview

    We are currently seeking an ambitious and creative health care professional to provide leadership and operational management for a growing outpatient practice.  As the right hand person of the Medical Director, the Administrator will increase efficiency, effectiveness, and drive the business development of the program. This role requires a collaborative and analytical administrator, comfortable working with colleagues at all levels of the organziation, and well as with external constituents.

    Responsibilities

    Manage the clinic team, comprised of np's, social workers, and administrative support staff.

    Collaborate with our internal Marketing and Development teams to drive growth and philanthropic support.

    Create and present to internal and external audiences

    Collaborate with clinicians across the Hebrew SeniorLife continuum to ensure outstanding and well coordinated care of patients

    Collaborate with peers across the system to enhance clinic infrastucture (billing, scheduling, data management)

    Work closely with the Medical Director to ensure research and regulartory compliance

    In collabration with the Adminsitrative Director of the Dept of Medicine, prepare and monitor the clinic budget.

    Qualifications

    Bachelor's Degree required, Master's in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or related program is preferred

    Very strong computer skills with the ability to interpret data analytically and with an eye toward constant quality improvement and efficiency.

    Demonstrated management and supervisory skills, with a collaborative spirit and intellectual curiosity

    Prior experience managing budgets, sponsored awards or other funding sources required.

    Prior experience in clinic or department operations required.

    This role requires outstanding communication skills-written, verbal, and interpersonal
