This team member is a partner of the Culinary Services team. This team member will demonstrate a strong commitment to the philosophy and goals of the mission of Hebrew SeniorLife and recognize resident/patient dignity and choice in aspects of daily life. This team member will work with NBOC team to meet all needs of the members of New Bridge on the Charles. This team member will strive to make every encounter with a resident/patient into a positive and meaningful experience and opportunity, while providing safe and efficient quality of care. This position will manage a staff of 0 full time employees.
This team member will accept and store daily food and beverage, and non food and beverage products. This team member will maintain the general storeroom, walk-in coolers, and main kitchen freezer, in accordance with general stocking practices and serve safe requirements. This team member will rotate stock to ensure wholesome, quality food and beverage. This team member will issue and deliver food, beverage, and non food products to departments in accordance to the requisition policies and procedures. This team member will assist the purchasing clerk with all food and beverage related inventories.
High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
Some work experience in related field preferred.
All employees must maintain a neat, clean and well groomed appearance. Specific uniform guidelines and /or required articles of clothing will be explained to you as part of the orientation process.
NOTE: Newbridge on the Charles operates 7 days a week 365 days a year. This position requires flexibility in regards to scheduling including the potential of working weekend shifts.
