    Vitalize 360SM is a joint venture among Hebrew SeniorLife, Kendal Corporation and the Center for Information Management which promotes optimal wellness for successful aging. Vitalize 360SM combines an innovative, person-directed approach to wellness coaching and the power of information derived from a scientific assessment system. The intent of the program is to powerfully engage and inspire its participants and members in order to improve quality of life and overall health as well as demonstrate outcomes of its approach to inspire the way aging is supported nationally.

    Reporting to the Vitalize 360SM Board of Directors, the Executive Director of Vitalize 360SM will have overall strategic and operational responsibility for the Vitalize 360SM program, execution of its mission, and its continued evolution and expansion.


               Anticipates market, customer, industry and economic trends, issues and development, and takes the initiative to identify new innovative           opportunities  to create competitive advantage for the program.

          Focuses on delivering superior performance by setting and achieving stretch goals.

    • Persuades, convinces, and enlists others to support and adopt a course of action or direction in support of program goals.
    • Takes personal responsibility for understanding the real and underlying needs of customers’ and anticipating and meeting their expectations to establish viable, long-term relationships. 
    • Uses experience, knowledge and training to manage effectively in increasingly difficult and ambiguous situations, making the best decisions possible at the time.


    Position Responsibilities:

    • Develops the program’s strategic and operational framework to maximize the scope of impact of the Vitalize 360SM program and achieve its sustainability.
    • Manages timelines and resources needed to achieve the strategic goals and directions for ongoing program operations and continued expansion.
    • Develops detailed annual business plan, budget and report periodic progress to the Board.
    • Ensures effective systems to track and measure progress toward business goals.
    • Identifies, develops and maintains relevant partnerships and leverage strategic opportunities to support the evolution and expansion of the Vitalize 360SM program.
    • Designs and manages billing and collection procedures for annual member fees.
    • Engages and energizes new and existing Vitalize 360SM users through the creation of a learning collaborative with ongoing support systems and innovative learning opportunities.
    • Defines, organizes and coordinates Vitalize 360SM training events for new and existing users.
    • Establishes and maintains relationships with leaders and coaches at each member site.
    • Directs planning for and deployment of ongoing Vitalize 360SM software modifications and extensions.
    • Analyzes program metrics in collaboration with HSL’s Institute for Aging Research.
    • Positions the Vitalize 360SM program, through branding and program development, to be acknowledged in the marketplace as:
    1. Attractive to engaged individuals interested in an active lifestyle
    2. Attractive to innovative organization seeking to be part of a forward-thinking learning collaborative
    3. Inspiring a change in the way aging in supported in our nation through the publication of program outcomes







    BA/BS with 10 years related business operations experience required; a minimum of 5 years in a management capacity.



    • Advanced degree preferred.
    • Experience in enhancing the value of programs through continuous quality improvement process.
    • Excellence in organizational management with the ability to coach staff, manage, and develop high-performance teams, set and achieve strategic objectives, and manage a budget.
    • Past success working with a Board of Directors with the ability to cultivate effective working relationships.
    • Strong marketing and public relations skills with the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders and cultures.
    • Persuasive and passionate communication skills.
    • Action-oriented, entrepreneurial spirit, adaptable, and innovative approach to business planning.
    • Ability to work effectively in collaboration with diverse groups of people.
