  • Overview

    The Member Services Manager will manage the Assisted Living and Independent Living reception desks and Independent Living Concierge Desk staff members and Per Diem pool.  In addition, this position will oversee the administration of Guest House and member services payroll within the Department of Community Life.  This position is instrumental in interacting with members, team members, and colleagues in a positive, supportive way and must be a self-starter, have the ability to prioritize, perform multiple tasks, anticipate needs, demonstrate initiative, and be skilled in community building to create a meaningful, innovative, and vibrant best-in-class CCRC.


    • Manage all aspects of the independent living and assisted living front desks and concierge, including adherence to standard operating procedures, hiring, training, and scheduling
    • Initiate and lead disciplinary action with support of Director of Community Life
    • Complete annual reviews in a timely manner
    • Manage One Stop Shop policies and procedures. Communicate service issues with department heads involved to maintain smooth operation.
    • Maintain a professional approach to all issues at all times
    • Handle special projects, including the creation and/or maintenance of spreadsheets, member appreciation fund, databases, and all phone lists.
    • Supervise Guest House administration
    • Collect, record, and approve member services staff payroll within the Department of Community Life
    • Coordinate billing processes with Community Life for all on and off campus chargeable services and special events
    • Coordinate billing processes with Housekeeping, Facilities, Transportation and Security for all resident billable additional services


    • 5 years related experience managing front office operations
    • 2 to 5 years supervisory experience required
    • High School diploma required 
    • Ability to be self-directed in a start-up environment 
    • Computer literacy; experience with Windows, Word, Power Point, and Excel
    • Ability to work some weekends and evenings as necessary
